there are a million and one restarants and shops in new york city, so instead of making them all you can post any restuarant and shops you want here. please remember though the garment district holds all upscale and high fashion stores, but all other places go here.

although it is not in the city, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations when visting new york. liberty island is home to the statue of liberty- one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
